Testing from the eye can be made in case of purulent -inflammatory processes occurring in the eye. Most often, discharge from the eye indicates conjunctivitis, blepharitis and keratitis.
A small inflammatory reaction can be the result of non-pathogenic microorganisms of the genus Corynebacterium. Prolonged use of antibiotics often cause the release of Candida and Aspergillus fungi. Inflammation, as a rule, is localized on the conjunctiva, mucous membrane of the eyelids and in the lacrimal sac, rarely on the cornea.
