Information about the test

One of the most informative tests  that allows you to determine the causative agent of the disease and its sensitivity to medical drugs is the microbiological material testing. In addition, the analysis for this testing can be prescribed for preventive purposes.

This method of detecting the causative agent of a bacterial infection is more informative than enzyme immunoassay and others. Testing from the eye can be made in case of purulent -inflammatory processes occurring in the eye. Most often, discharge from the eye indicates conjunctivitis, blepharitis and keratitis.

A small inflammatory reaction can be the result of non-pathogenic microorganisms of the genus Corynebacterium. Prolonged use of antibiotics often cause the release of Candida and Aspergillus fungi. Inflammation, as a rule, is localized on the conjunctiva, mucous membrane of the eyelids and in the lacrimal sac, rarely on the cornea.
